CBS has all seven seasons available online. You can check them out here: MacGyver on CBS. I started watching them during the writer's strike (yes, I watch TV shows but only online) when I couldn't watch "Lost", "The Office", "Pushing Daisies", or my Monday night cry fest - "Extreme Makeover Home Edition".
The show is much cornier than I remember it being, but I still love his inventive solutions and his mullet.
It's no shocker that I was surprised when I read on gizmodo.com today that the creator of MacGyver (and real life inspiration), Lee David Zlotoff, announced that he has the rights to the MacGyver movie and it is in the planning stages. Here's the pic from the gizmodo post:
There were some comments posted on the story that talked about bringing Richard Dean Anderson back for the role or bringing in someone younger like Neil Patrick Harris. I don't know where they got that from, maybe it is because they both include their middle name in their stage names(who knows?) I would pay to go see a Macgyver movie mostly for nostalgia.

Are you telling me Doogie Howser is going to be Macgyver? Please no. I loved Macgyver for a long time but I would get really stressed out watching it. How will he ever make a bomb out of that piece of gum in time?--oh no, 3..2..
After watching several episodes I know now how useful a camera or purse strap is....never leave home with out one, seriously!
