One Week
It's been one week since we listed our house and no one has come to see it. Arrrrgh! Don't these people know that we are bribing our kids to keep this place clean? It is emotionally draining waiting endlessly for the cell phone to ring. I'm pretty sure I cleaned the kitchen four times Saturday morning trying to keep it in "model home" status. I think The Wait is going to try my patience. We had a realtor call to say that they were going to come by between 1:30 and 2:15 PM last Thursday but the punks never showed. How lame is that? Their clients won't buy my house if they don't bring them here. Check out the listing: MLS# 20813751
On a happier note I wanted to put a shout out to one of my favorite websites: http://www.homestead.org/. You can read about all sorts of fun homestead related topics. The articles are written by people who have braved the journey and are experiencing homesteading firsthand. This is the site where I was reintroduced to yurts. I spend way too much time on this site but I can't get enough. I have read about free-range chickens, working dogs, financial preparation, etc... Check it out. You just might find yourself in the market for some acreage too.

Your house looks great. What is wrong with people in Tucson? I especially love the picture of Parkin asleep in his bed. I too, will never be able to hear that song and not think of you guys. I look forward to the sale of your house and visiting you all on the homestead. It sounds like great fun.
I predict that this is going to be a good week. Someone is going to visit both of our houses.
To suzie, you guys' house is up for sale already too? Do we get to visit your MLS also? To Ben and Lesley, the house looks awesome!
